    Grand Wailea Resort in Maui

    Anyone ever been there? http://www.grandwailea.com/

    It's almost time for our annual "OD'ing on Family Time" vacation, and we're going to stay there. Any advice?

          Advice on the resort or on Maui? Never stayed there (we always get a condo), but have been to Maui many times. My favorite island out of all of them.

                  One thing I noticed in Maui is if you stay on what I call "hotel row" you are 10-15 minutes from the town area where everything is. You know Steve, Cheeseburgers in Paradise. : )
                  Vacares rules.

                      I stayed there for two weeks right after it opened. Amazing place, I have no idea how it has aged or current management. It's also close to some very nice public beaches, one nude.

                                      I was there a couple months ago. Great place.

                                      My advice is to be sure you rent a car. And take a day to check out Front Street.
