How does organic traffic hit the same number everyday?

I'm just curious why my traffic reports show such consistent traffic numbers every single day with organic traffic? Do the same number of people search the same thing everyday? For instance a blog of mine repeatedly brings in between 1500-1520 organic hits everyday for nearly a year. This is the same for most of my sites. Once they rank they just stick at the same results.

Maybe it's not as organic as you think? (not being saracastic).

      Wow, you too?

      Probably a coincidence.

I see the same and I believe it's Google capping search queries.

google caps you like said above. It will be as clear as day if you ever own the #1 and #2 spot on a high traffic term and see them interchange once in a while.
