    I finally saw 'The Lives Of Others'

    It lived up to the hype for me and was very enjoyable. There is a lot of good stuff coming out of Germany lately. Downfall is another one that comes to mind straight away.

              I just watched that movie this weekend. I kept skipping past it thinking that it didn't sound all that interesting, but after so many people on here said how great it was, I finally gave in. And I'm glad I did... Excellent movie

                                          The Lives of Others is awesome. Agreed, lots of good films coming out of Germany and The US and Scotland I think is got real game at the moment. Check out in no particular order Half Nelson, Red Road, The Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford, No Country For Old Men, Running With Scissors, Hallam Foe, The Chumscrubber, Eastern Promises, Man About Town and Shortbus.
