Iphone 5c was too close in price to the high end iphone. Google can sell a phone no contract for$349
http://www.dvice.com/2013-10-18/goog...l-350-unlocked and thats a pretty kick ass phone. No reason apple couldnt sell their 5c for $300. They would of sold faster than they could build them.
Also apple phones are no longer status symbols when you can get them at walmart.
