                                                                          I don't like it. I like American made cars and trucks, but this just screams El Camino to me.

                                                                          GM should do a proper SS 1/2 ton pickup if they want to tap into that market in my opinion.

                                                                          I'd rather see them slap the new Vette engine or even a supercharger into one of the new styled pickups.

                                                                          Here's a version they made for auto shows. Tone down the hood a little and get rid of the chrome vents on the front and it wouldn't look too bad.



                                                                          Ford had the right idea with the Lightning, but they quit making those.

We had the Chevy El Camino and the Ford Ranchero back in the late 70's early 80's. Then they stopped selling them here.

                                                                                                                                              The other one that took forever to get here in the US was quad cab mini trucks like Toyota's and Nissans.. For year Im' not sure what the reason was but they just wouldn't sell them here in the US.
