Headless is a fine designer for the prices he charges and with that I hope he continues to broaden his services soon and charge more.

There's nothing to really understand. I made a purchase from Headless and when he delivered absolute garbage I figure it to be more in my interests to write it off and just do my own and/or hire someone else. It wasn't worth the time for me to go over all that was wrong with them and hope that he could fix them.

Headless has no problem slagging anyone else here on this board to get himself some exposure. He crossed a line in my eyes and I just drop a banner and a comment telling him to get his own shit in order before dogging someone else.

That's what I'm getting at. Instead of "dropping a comment" on the board and firing up a public pissing match, why not just contact the guy and get the deal worked out? By his posts he seems to have been perfectly willing to make things right.

I don't see how you can look back at some of your posts on these threads and think that you've been very professional. Not taking a shot at you, more like trying to get you to see things from a different perspective is all.

I had absolutely NO INTEREST in working out some sort of deal. You've seen the banners. They were so bad that it wasn't worth the time to go over with him and have them done over. I know what it takes to make a banner. I basicially paid him $125 for an hour or so worth of work. I'll pay someone like MarkTiarra $125 an hour, but Headless, come on...you can't think anyone would be THAT dumb. Honestly, had it not been utter shit, I have no issue with that. But he took my money, no problem with me or my "history" at that point, never mentioned that my content was shit and that he absolutely NEEDED logo PSDs or the banners would turn out shitty..and proceeded to put me off for 3-4 days after promising them the next day. Granted, I did say "no real rush"...that didn't mean do them when you feel like it.

Seeing him lecture here on the whoas of hiring a designer and taking any opportunity he can to slag anyone he thinks he might be able to use to get some exposure for himself pissed me off. I made a simple comment saying that maybe he should worry more about himself and less about others, along with one of the banners he did for me.

He didn't save face with my by redoing the banners. But I'm sure it scored him a few points with everyone here on GFY. But I doubt any of them are going to be having him do their banners anytime soon.

Period. You say you don't care and it wasn't worth your time, and here you both are airing it out. Of course as long as you're having fun it's all good, right?

It's just me, but I'm of the mind that it's better to keep in contact (that means both sides) during this kind of deal. Fact is it's always worth the time in the long run. Always.

In my eyes the deal was over. He took my money and delivered subpar product. Based on that, it was my opinion that he wasn't capable of making it right. He crossed a line in my eyes here on the board and I suggested he worry about himself. He brought it to the next level with the thread and it's funny because I knew where he was going to. I knew he'd bump the same old threads and try to take the heat off himself.

The old stuff doesn't bother me, people who've had issue and wanted to work things out have worked things out. But, I wasn't going to sit here and see him make shit up about not being able to do a good job because I didn't give him logo PSDs, or that I went through and changed my content after he made a post about it (which is absolutely crazy)...when it was painfully obvious that his "skills" were lacking big time.

I feel like a broken record. Is this all really that hard to "get"?
