i've heard people talk about it that have done it and do it regularly... based on what i've heard, i would definately do it if i had the chance.

What are they actually used for? It's supposed to be very relaxing? Floating in water in the dark, listening to your own breath, doesn't seem THAT fun for some reason....

Wherever you wanna go's the idea. There are many uses.

I've heard that many peeps hallucinate. It's used a lot of times to to get one's mind to enter a state of waking sleep. It's supposed to make deep states of meditation a lot easier to achieve for whatever purpose you want to meditate.

Put succinctly... I guess it could be said that it's supposed to expand the ability to use your mind as a tool to whatever end you wish.

Either that, or everyone's just tripping.

One of the reasons I wanna go is to experience it first-hand, myself.
