The design concept isn't all that new, saw a very similar design on a solo girl site a year or 2 ago.

Overall it's not a very good design in my opinion. It doesn't even look right unless you're viewing it in at least 1920x1080; it doesn't scale and isn't responsive, so mobile traffic is out.

The first menu item pops up a modal join box that you can't close. The other menu items open modal windows where the close button doesn't work half the time.

I could go on but I've already looked at the site longer than I expect most potential customers to before moving on.
