D300 is amazing!! Got the battery pack and DX VR 18-200, haven't even need to take that lens off the body once.....

Agreed, the 18-200 VR is an extremely versatile lens. I use it 90% of the time.
Got the 50mm f/1.8 for low-light shots. This new 12-24 is gonna be great for landscape shots.
