Would you want your banner on a site with 100,000 views that were 40% shit, non-related, no chance of buying, and chasing away the targeted people more everyday. Or on a site with 75,000 and almost all targeted, and climbing cause the fresh new approach.
Plus the fact that if they actually put it on wrap, the views would climb as more real webmasters began to return to the biggest adult webmaster forum, and a new improved one at that.
Also, in this day and age, who honestly gives a fuck about "views", anyone who's anybody knows conversion and money is important, not views, clicks or impressions. Views mean nothing. We advertised here for 2-3 years and received zero benefit out of it. And that was years ago. The clicks were abysmal and it didn't help branding one bit. Our best signups for webmasters came from downline referrals and other targeted resource sites.
Views, clicks... mean nothing anymore. When 95% of affiliates don't even send 1 single hit who cares if you get 2 newb signups a day?
No one here allows themselves to be branded anyway.Comment

If there was a paid board, some of the money could be used to hire a full time mod. Any non-biz or bullshit post could be moved to the regular 'fucking around' board. The only way for this board to be taken seriously is if the owners of this board start taking it seriously. There's a million teenage non-webmasters and trolls, and even people purporting to be real webmasters (SleazyDream comes to mind) who are just here to troll.
I mean... I said it years ago; those people need to simply be banned. Anyone know why SexEd was here for years? Anyone know why Rhino22 never got banned from the get-go? I mean, there's been countless situations where people obviously aren't webmasters, and nobody cares.
The solution is simple. The board needs to get selective with who they allow to contribute, and not be purely concerned with delivering page-views to advertisers.Comment

PS: these threads are useless.. They obviously have a policy of letting this community run free, short of breaking the rules and being a total racist jackass. Deal with it, cuz that's how it is. If they instituted any of the changes that get brought up here weekly, it would just get all fucked up too. Why do we always scream for rules and no rules at the same time, depending on how we feel at the time in this industry?
