                                          A lot of hotmail traffic is counted toward live.com .. whereas Google's 90%+ (i think) is there for search.

                                          May be google can win alexa war (lol) by making youtube a subdomain, youtube.google.com

                                                          It's only recent too. I first noticed Live a couple weeks ago. At that time it was ranked #1 on Alexa. It always used to be Yahoo #1, Google #2. Live seems to have come from nowehere to almost the top spot.
