If you posted this thread yesterday I would say hostgator but after the downtime and terrible support to go with it that I experienced yesterday I would have to say stay away from them. I am thinking of going to gotwebhost.com now myself.

I signed up with them a couple of weeks ago based on someone?s recommendation here (maybe yours) and I have been very disappointed. Overall very slow load times on all my pages/domains and very slow response to support tickets oh and guess what my account is currently down with no ETA available when it will be back up. Key element is not just stability,price is also very relevant factor.I said all those sucks beacuse they put high price compared to dedicated web hosts which host mainstream sites mostly.For example,two hosts which have extremly high prices,swiftwill and webazilla,doesnt have a single mainstream site hosted,only tons of adult sites,which proves my theory.But speaking about phatservers,i didnt personaly use it,but i did work on servers hosted on phatserver.Ssh was very slow for some reason,pico was not installed and that made problematic work which i had to do on that server.Also one webmaster which i know and have server on phatserver had downtime almost entire day for some reason.In any case all listed hosts can work fine if you dont have problem with price,even alphared(thread starter wants to leave them beacuse of bad support) but i simply have different criteria,so i dont use neither will use any of hosts listed here unless maybe righthosting.com
