If they were new programs that would be somewhat understandable. However, to be honest, I still hear great things about ARS conversions.

well I wasn't really coming down on ARS,more of a general statement... Programs change their webmaster interface every 5 months but still have sites with tours 3 years old lol

Hyper - Well, I don't use ARS. However, my best friend does and with his small amount of traffic he's able to do a few K per month. With them being one of the largest programs on the net (if not the largest) - they're obviously doing something right. Unless it's an anomoly, he's also claiming conversions are even better since they launched ARS Professional.

Actually, conversions are better.
I'm around 1:1200 now which is about a 500% improvement

I am currently converting 1:66 with their "tour 3" version of adult movie station.

We did the design.. so I am testing out the conversions. I must say, I am surprised at the conversion.. usually i average at about 1:125

Ah yet another ARS bashing thread. ARS is the biggest per sign up proggie for a reason.

A really sweet paysite tour will cost you about 2K. That's not even a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of traffic ARS has thrown at their tours everday. If the tours didn't convert they would change them, simple as that.

Yeah Hyper I'm sure you know 50 webmasters who say otherwise, but that's only because the only time people post about conversion ratios is when they suck. They guy who's converting 1:50 doesn't have time to tell everyone about it because he's too busy counting his money

i tend to believe that ARS is like FEB which means:

if you traffic is familiar with the sponsor you are fucked up.
