ah, so you mean you would want to have like a mobile viewable site, well I have experience with what I mentioned above but not with this.

Just so the way it works is that your setup has to recognize if there is a mobile or internet browser, which from what I heard is not entirely reliable with all different kinds of mobile setups.. so you can as well end up loading an internet page instead of the mobile suited page..

I ain't the mobile guy but as from what I know we tried to test push like a wap site, with very limited amount of content, meaning a simple wap site you view on your mobile, you pay with a premium sms and can download a couple of videos.

What was interesting was, the conversion rate as someone bought something (when they got there) was around 1:1000 but it was totally untargeted traffic, where the people had to get to the offer over the WEB, so you would expect there will be a vast amount of people not even knowing what wap is...

But of course, you had only a couple of videos per download and the billing plus your mobile partner that setup the site we used there grab around 50 pct. of a turnover - not a big deal to push a non recurring per download option for mobile... way better results with distribution inside the mobile carriers in Europe.

That's my main issue, operators keep too much.. so at the end you get like 25 - 30 pct. of the end fee cause once it is billed by SMS or a phone call operator will keep as much as 40 - 50 pct.

With the CC payment I suppose the fee is like 25 pct., but if you have a phone in hand I suppose most of the people will choose the SMS anyway..

Don't have much choice though - the stronger dog fucks the most, although what happened with roaming in EU recently could be an interesting precedent..
