    5 Health Clinics in Las Vegas NV, USA (how the fuck does this happen in the US?) closed down today.


    Policy was reusing syringes and vials from person to person!

    FUCKING SICK.. Shocking..

    Anyone ever been to this Clinic? People are already stepping forward finding out they have Hep C.

                  I may be over reacting. I have a phobia of needles and shots... So this shit is my worst nightmare......

                  Ive been screaming at my wife all night saying the last time my son got his shots the nurses didnt dispose the needles in the sharps container in the room.. They put the needles back on the tray and walked them out of the room..

                  WTF??

                  They should make it law that they have to dispose the syringe in the room in the lockable sharps container in the room for the patient to see.

                  Who knows what the fuck they do with the syringes if they walk out of the room with it.

                  Im sure all is well, but holy shit how sick whats happened in Vegas.

                      One of my good friends works for Merck in the HIV division. HE says that Vegas has a HIV/AIDS epidemic. More so than places like Sanfran or LA where you would think there would be more of a problem.

                      Not sure if this place helped create this epidemic. But of all places in the US, Vegas would be the worst place you'd want recycled-reused syringes in your arm or a loved one's arm.

                          Is it a poor person clinic? Not that it matters, but I cant figure out why someone would do this unless they thought poor people didnt matter or some crazy shit.

                                                                                                              It's actually been going on for at least a week or so here, they're just now doing more research and finding other centers doing the same. It's been all over our news for a while. The clinics weren't ghetto or anything, and most anybody could have found themselves there for one reason or another.

                                                                                                              We have a few friends who now have to get tested ranging from young to old. I was at the Dr. the other day (unrelated thankfully), and the number of people coming in to get some paperwork to get a blood test was pretty crazy. The receptionist just had a huge stack of requests for blood tests ready to hand out to anyone who asked, and gave them to probably eight people in the half hour I was waiting. I'm sure this has been going on all this past week for them. These people had no idea they were exposed and now live in fear. Even if it comes back negative today, what about 10 years from now in the case of something like HIV?

                                                                                                              We had two kids in the last three years, and thankfully mom and babies were healthy enough to not need anything done at these centers. It could have so easily happened to anybody. It's unreal that it'd happen in today's world, in the USA like you said.

                                                                                                                              People always are looking for ways to make more money, and if they're the ones buying the syringes then its them that saves the money.

                                                                                                                              Wake up people the whole private health care thing does not work. Look to Canada to see real health care and even though you have to wait an hour in the emergency room when you have the flu, at least no fucker doctor is trying to make a buck by taking shortcuts with your safety.

                                                                                                                                                  My comment was mostly because I find it ridiculous whenever someone brings up the 'must be terrorists' comment whenever something bad happens in the USA. That ranks second on my list of what I dislike about America, after the #1 thing I hate: people suing people for ANYTHING there.
