The Phuket Gathering was pretty low risk, but doing this in Pattaya is not a bright idea. Considering it is the top city in Thailand for porn related arrests, and that is including just running websites, cams and possession of adult material, not just shooting.
If I were you, I would take a 100% clean laptop with you, no porn at all on it. Nothing that even connects you to a porn site. Pattaya police just arrested 2 guys (2 different cases) a few weeks ago for running websites. Then to have it at the Amari... that is a fairly uptight hotel. Very poor choice for an adult get together.
Bangkok or another one in Phuket would have been a much smarter place to have this.
Just don't get caught with porn anywhere near you is what I'm trying to say.Comment

Indeed. Phuket is beautiful. Pattaya has the worst beach in all of Thailand. And whatever you do, don't swim in it, it's VERY polluted.
If you must do the beach thing while you're there, go to the Jomtien side. It's a little better.
The islands that you will be able to view from the Pattaya beach is a waste of time. Don't waste your money. After going to Phuket and the islands around there, you will really be let down.
However.... if you like to party and fuck the dirtiest whores in all of Thailand, you are going to drown in it. Pattaya is non-stop. More whores that you have ever seen in your life. Guaranteed.
