DWB, I have occasionally purchased some photography, audio & video gear off of Amazon or even through eBay sellers and a few other places. But there aren't too many online retailers that I would trust over B&H for big purchases. Are you just dismissing them over one late shipment or something? I assume you double checked the local time shipping cut off and Jewish holidays before making an urgent order for rush delivery. Not to mention shipping delays out of their control to the Far East if that's the case.
