Revenge Porn, Holly Jacobs, and a 2257

Who has a copy!? I'm really sick of reading in the mainstream news how exploited and ashamed the "porn revenge victims" are. I'm pretty sure they still have to adhere to laws especially 18 USC ยง 2257. Or was everything just illegal about what was happening?

I agree with and sympathize with someone that has private images plastered over the internet.

I also don't understand how the poster of images can do it without releases and proper documentation. Under existing laws the prosecution should be a slam dunk.

these girls have a lesson to learn. don't give out pics unless you are comfortable with everyone seeing them. all the laws in the world won't stop teens from doing stupid things.
you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..

there is a scam going around where a woman will convince a guy to get naked on a webcam, then once they do it they blackmail the guy threatening to post the pics all over the net unless they western union them money.

It doesn't answer the question of why ex's seem to be immune from legal repercussions that are held over the heads of porn site owners.

I had taken a break from the adult biz and settled into a vanilla relationship. A couple years later and the girl I was with found the sites I was involved in. Apparently she didn't like that I had previously been part of a gang bang squad and posted several photos all over social media.
The original producer got some free advertising, my girlfriend left the state, and I said fuck it....going in full time. It was still pretty humiliating though and I do feel bad for people (especially those not trying to make a career in porn) who have there stuff leaked out for the masses to see.

There is no 2257 because there is no model release, no copies of ids. Its not a shoot.

The Vietnam era guys had to worry about psychotic prostitutes doing weird rapey stuff while you were in bed. Nowadays it's all about being blackmailed by white trash.

this is how the Internet works.
                          • If you own a sex store and put up an "Enter only if 18 or over." and minors still come in and no one does anything about it...

The police will arrest those working and close down the store.
But on the Internet it is business as usual.
                          • I have a couple of boxes of cassettes and DVDs mailed to me by amateur couples without documentation and if I put them on a DVD and sell them....

The police will eventually find out and I will be arressted. Perhaps even charged with making child porn because I can not prove those were actual adults.
But on the Internet it is called "User generated content" and it is business as usual.

                          To be very clear.
                          1. Men are filming their girlfriends without their knowledge or consent and posting the videos.
                          2. Porn sites are probably accessed more by children than any one wants to admit.
                          3. Children are posting videos of themselves to these sites.
                          4. Pedophiles are also posting (and sometimes filming) videos of children to the Internet.

If you talk to any producer or photographer that has been around for at least 2 decades they will tell you that the police used to ALWAYS be sneaking around trying to find some way of causing problems for the industry. But somehow around 2005 all law enforcement lost their brains and just decided that Internet was not actually distributing porn.

I am in favour of liberty of expression but that does not mean that porn makers should not have to adhear to certain rules about performer age, consent and documentation requires of their age and consent.
officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.

Girls upload more than straight man but gays (man) upload even more than girls.

With her name, phone number and email address posted online, Jacobs was bombarded with unwanted attention.

Her photos and videos were even sent to her boss.
yeah, that sounds like a gf revenge type porn site '_'

more like he logged into her fb and posted the pics/video, and subbed them to a tube or two.

on the plus side, if this dumb bitch thinks they are real, maybe surfers really aren't as clever as I thought:

"They bill themselves as places in which we can get back at our exes," says Professor Danielle Keats Citron of the University of Maryland law school.

And in most cases the sites are legal, says Citron.

i could only assume its largely because the ex actually took the picture or had the picture sent to them by the person who took it unlike porn sites that mine the net for the pics and profit off it but the ex's should be held legally responsible just as much as porn sites.
