    So for the first time in my life I just watched the God Father trilogy.!

    Ok im a little drunk, I thought No.1 and No.2 were fantastic, but I kind of lost the plot in No.3

    But 2nd best film ever? I think thats what they were rated
    I don't know, don't get me wrong they were amazingly good. But in the gangsters niche I much preferred Goodfellas and Casino and think they should be up there before the god father sets.

    What did you think about them?

    The next dvd i will buy will be citizan kane and see the 1st rated movie of all time.

              Infact I really loved no.1, no.1 was amazing, it really was, and no2. was good with the flash backs.

              3 though just totally lost me, i hate films that base the plot on religion (da vinci code)

                  there is a mention of some kind of alcohol beverages in his post. It's hardly doable to get over part one with a few beers in the reservoir

                  As for the best "gangster" type of movies, (in no particular order) Goodfellas, Scarface, Donnie Brasco, Carlito?s Way, Reservoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects

                          yeah, 3 was horrible I liked 1 for it being so gangster and 2 for the story behind it all but 1 was the best for me but by far NOT the best movie of all time!

                                                  i tried watching the first and the second recently but both times just fell asleep mid way. And woke up being handed a dick... LOL I guess he was bored too

                                                      I watched all 3 over a few days recently too (first time id ever seen them) - I still prefer either Goodfella's or Casino.
