    Age Verification On Free Sites?

How do I verify a persons age and comply with US laws if my site is free to join and I don't require a credit card to sign up?

Is a simple popup window that asks to enter your birthdate enough?

Don't worry about it. No one else does so why should you?

What about a standard click to enter "agreement" on the landing page like everyone else? Maybe add an RTA symbol to it as well.

Where can I find the RTA symbol? Are we required to do beyond the click to enter agreement?

I'm doing it. The only people I want on my sites are middle aged men and women with credit cards. I do not give a shit about traffic numbers or page impressions (a sad outlook these days, I know...)

If I can scare away the odd casual porn surfer, then YAY! for me. You can have them. There are still - believe it or not - a LOT of people out there who do not want to be fed unlimited porn that they have no interest in. People who are not interested in visiting sites that collect their personal information, or "social sites" that collect data and spam their emails. Guys in their 40s and 50s are not necessarily looking for free porn. They just want some site to visit where they can whack off in comfort without being harrassed.
