Here is what I would do.
1. Get rid of that like facebook thing (you can have that inside)
2. Replace 1 with a big ass registration button.
On the registration page:
- What is the difference between a member and a model?
- Why does it say BASIC?
In general, you don't say what the site is about. So unless you do that before people land on the page, you'll get a lot of people going "wtf is this?"
When it comes to making people register, buy, do something somewhere - try to avoid giving them a chance to "think" or ask themselves questions. Every time that happens, there is a (usually pretty big) chance they give up and go do something else.
