Add more every week. Here ya go. www.porntubefinder.com No submissions at this time, but if you want your's added email me [email protected] and Ill add it on. Adding reviews to it soon as I get time as to whether tubes are legal content or not legal, user submitted, owner submitted etc. Pop ups, no pop ups.
Tubes are not the problem, content theft is. Please figure out the distinction between the two.
You think sending out lists of tube sites is helping anyone here beyond AFF or the other advertisers? Someone already put a huge tube site with stolen content on here. You think I don't know the difference between content theft and a tube site? Nice attempt at an insult. That's just a useless post and you know it.
Until the tube site problem (ie sites using stolen content and posting full length videos) is solved I don't think we should be supporting any tube sites to be honest. Because the one with the full length videos is always going to win and we are all going to loose sales or ROI on any properties that we own. Call it fact, call it fiction, but that is what is happening if you choose to see it or not.
Brad, we might as well do the same with mgp, tgp, link list etc.
Infact, lets not support anything in the industry then it will go back to the lovely way it was -- the good old days.
For a fact, the problem will never be solved. There will always be 1 or more assholes stealing from content providers.
I'm against content theft, I think it's wrong is so many ways. But to not support legal tube sites, that's just silly. Don't support the tube sites using stolen content (redtube) or full lenth movies but the guys running legit legal tube sites are just like every other webmaster running a mgp or tgp. Their promoting the paysites with content provided by the sponsor.
I have 54 sponsors that have approved their videos to be used with TEVS which are all legal tube sites.

how different is a legal tube from a mpg? 2 min clips and link back to sponsor.

This train of thought is typical. Forget about the tubes, torrents etc. This is about allowing content to freely flow out of members areas. Bah but why bother on gfy...

Typically, the link back is buried in the page with tons of other distractions (e.g., aff, fling, dvd ads, etc...). Many of these sites are just masquerading as 'legal' and most of their revenue comes from banners (i.e., not from joins from the sample). I think the page that is displaying the video should be completely skinned out for the content owner and only other videos from the sponsor should be allowed on the page.

Now that would be a great way to make the sponsors happy. Great idea.

I agree the problem is ultimately content theft. Tube sites are providing a vehicle to spread that content. I think in our industry, tube sites (once again, the ones that have full length videos) are the places we should be worried about. Torrent sites make the user wait to download the movie before viewing and therefore are not nearly as user friendly as a tube site that offers the surfer instant gratification. Therefore, it is my opinion that tube sites are a problem.
Even the ones that are legal and sponsor approved do little to help us because they advertise the fact that free video is available to a broader range of surfers (through search engines, etc.). I would venture to guess that once the savvy surfer gets bored of 2 minute clips he or she will go searching to find a better source of content and chances are it will not be a pay site. And it definitely won't be hard to find.
For a long time tgps were the sole source of free content. And the great thing about them was that they all had access to the same content. So if you got bored with the sponsored content on the hun you could go to persian, kitty, sex ape, thumbzilla, etc. Now with tubes the same is not true. They are fighting for traffic (the "illegal" ones) by offering more and better quality full length videos. Just like youtube is the standard in mainstream, it will not be long until one of the bigger porn tube sites will be come the standard. They already get mentioned in the mainstream, a snowball effect is not far off. Just look at the two biggest ones being in the Alexa top 100.
So yes, content theft is a big issue and certainly the main one. However, a natural byproduct of content theft and it's distribution is lower sales for the sponsors which will lead to less money available for new content and in the worst case people going out of business because their product is worth nothing because it is all available for free. Just as in the music industry, we are already seeing a lot of consolidation in our industry and companies going out of business.
This is how I see it. Am I wrong? I could be. But I highly doubt it.
