He should be a spokesman for good lawyers. Had his case not become the media frenzy it did he likely would have never gotten all the money he did from donations and he likely would not have been able to hire the lawyer he did.
From what I understand, the prosecution tried a lot of tricks during the trial and his lawyer was there to answer every one of them and block them. A lesser attorney or public defender may well not have been able to do that.Comment

Simple question to you:
Thug was shot because:
a) he was beating Zimmerman to death and Zimmerman was fighting for his life
b) he was walking from the store
Do not twist words, nobody is celebrating killing, people are just saying it was 100% legit and 100% justified shooting. So much legit that police did not even want to charge him, it was politicians that made it happen.

Zimmerman was betting beaten -- whether or not it was "to death" is debatable -- but he wouldn't have been in that position if not for being an a punk rent-a-cop with a hero complex. So technically it's a justified shooting based on Florida law, but that doesn't make it right.
You're just looking at it from the angle of "thug black kid" got what he deserved. If Zimmerman stayed in his car like he was told by the 911 dispatcher, Martin would have made it home. After thug confronted him he followed him so that he would not run away and be lost forever - again decent citizen behavior.
When thug started beating him he was scared for his life and had no other choice as to shoot. 100% justified and 100% legal.
How could anyone NOT stand on his side? He did absolutely nothing wrong.
