Paying out affiliates before they reach minimum is like saying only real webmasters get paid.

sometime a single $35 payment can get you all the future business of someone.Comment

I have always thought that it might be a good idea to do if the payment has been sitting for at least 30 days.PornGuy skype me pornguy_epic

if you're an affiliate program and an affiliate requests to get paid and he's below the minimum, while technically you'd be allowed to deny it, but as far as I'm concerned, that's downright shady.
did you ever think that your program sucks and thats why he couldn't make the min. sales? why should he get penalized... you may think he's some dumb shit newb with no traffic, what if he's not.. what if its your ass-backwards program?Crypto HODLr

When I first started out in this biz making maybe 1 sale a period if I was lucky Nasty Dollars would pay out $35 which I though was nice of them, gave me that extra incentive to promote them more and I sent a lot of sales to them as my traffic has continued to grow.Comment

I've done it before and have no problem with it, or paying out before the end of a pay period. We all have times where the extra money can come in handy and as someone mentioned before, the good will can earn future business.
As long as it's real revenue from sales that are not fraud, it's no problem.ISLAND DOLLARS

Absolute Minimum payments should be no more than 50$ for domestic webmasters. The ones who set it to $100 or more and pay monthly shouldn't be surprised when webmasters begin preferring merged ccbill programs instead.
If a program did offer to make an exception, I would view that very favorably though. I've had a rep offer that to me once without asking and that particular program is in my sig right now without a ref code.

when requested, for sure. There are several reasons for minimum payouts, not the least of which being the cost associated with processing payments and printing checks.
Also, there seems to be a perception that a signup represents a cashflow - which it does, over time... but, having earned say $35 or $70 in commissions doesn't represent $35 of $70 of cash sitting in some bank account or safe :PI died.Comment
