Wasn't there some uproar about the Cheerios commercial too with the white mom, black dad and light brown kid? People are weird. We'll all be a nice mocha latte in time.

According to what I've read though I'm not an expert, 30% of whites already have black ancestry and American blacks have like 25% white.

Like the hemmings one branch went "white" and one branch went "black".

1. Both of those actors look like they are mixed race. He looks like he may be 1/4 or 1/2 black and she looks like she could be part black or latino.

2. Kids are not racist. My daughter is white but most of her friends are black, Indian, Asian, etc. Due to her age we do not discuss race but we do discuss cultures. Even I have been guilty of this in the past but I try to remain strong and vigilant.

3. Today's young children are not learning racism from the KKK but rather the mainstream media's portrayal of things like the Travon Martin/George Zimmerman issue. They are see racist media whores like Al Sharpton and and Jessie Jackson get lots of attention for the hatred they spew. They see movies like Django where the N word is used hundreds of times and black people get their balls cut off. They see black people shooting white people like they are fish in a barrel.

4. Low IQ whites blacks, and latinos take the bait and begin to say racist things on message boards, to their friends, and to their kids.

5. The racist media masters and other elites who hate everyone benefit because the masses are divided and therefore cannot unite against their common oppressors.

I'm not looking for stuff like this, but I noticed when Snapple first started running their "half & half" tea/lemon commercials, I thought that it was a bit racist. The guy representing tea was a black guy, and the guy representing lemon was Asian. I just kind of laughed it off, but I was surprised their wasn't a backlash over it, since everyone seems to overreact to stupid shit.

Edit: Just did a google search for "snapple lemon tea commercial racist" and I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed.
