Thanks. I'll try the Firefox one first since I use FF. If not Transmit.

Transmit is great and under $20. If you need a CSS editor, the same company makes one called Coda that has the Transmit FTP functionality built into it.

If you can afford a mac you can afford a real FTP client ;)

                    Transmit sucks shit.

                    Captain FTP rocks though.

                              Impractical?

                              Why?

Unless you mean it's impractical for YOU because YOU cannot drive a command line FTP client. Which is my suspicion. Love to know what is impractical about it.

I just need to upload funny pics for GFY. If there's something worth paying for that uploads pics better than freeware I'm all ears.

I've been dealing with the command line for over a decade. I've worked as a network administrator, a server admin and now run my own servers. I'm more comfortable with the command line than you are, I promise. I also know that sometimes ctrl clicking (or cmd clicking as the case may be) a list of files and directories in a gui is faster and easier than futzing around with the command line. Just because you CAN use it doesn't mean you should.

I'd love to know what fuels the "I use the command line and notepad" elitist attitude. You seem to be an expert on the subject so please enlighten me.

You clearly didn't learn much in your ten whole years on the command line then.

Can't help you with that. Ask someone with an elitist attitude. All I did was point out OSX comes with a free FTP client and it's easy to use. You made the rest up in your head.
