Yeah. A buddy wanted a not-googlepages to put up his resume and show off some of his artwork. I figured he'd never do it. He learned how to use wordpress and gallery, did tons of stuff, then promptly dropped all but email.
Most CPanel hosts are just CPanel hosts, so when people ask for cheap, I give 'em cheap. Reliable VHost, well, that depends on what kind of site they expect to use, and if it's more than just a CJTGP. I know of some damn good ones, but they don't handle adult. I don't directly deal with people on shoestring budgets, either.Comment

dreamhost sure does go offline a lot. but yeah they have a lot of features. I just dont use or need the extra features. I need my shit online. I even asked to be switched to a differernt server cause my domain doesnt get much traffic. I was out of ideas. they said they are working on it. and then a few weeks later it was offline again. I've been with Dreamhost for years, and just recently shut down my account. Yes I had something like 7TB a month accrued on that account but it's all bullshit. I was running one of my sites, and they started complaining about server usage, using too much resources, yadda yadda yadda. This site did about 200-400Gb a month in bandwidth - that's all - so when they promote giving terabytes of throughput, it's a pipedream to get you in the door - the reality is, they oversell their shared boxes, they continue to have power issues, they continue to have core router issues, and they continue to host in a datacenter that allows for no expansion - remember last year that they had NO DEDICATED OFFERS - this is the reason why, and i've got it on good word from a few who are in the know on this stuff.
