    OK, let's get one thing clear about Damian...

    ...He wasn't fired...He quit...And he did it here on the boards before telling anyone at Max Cash.

    He wasn't forced out...Anyone who knows a thing about me - and I'll concede that there's a ton of you here that don't know me from the old days - knows I would never stifle anyone from speaking their mind on anything...That would be hypocritical.

    Having said that, Damian was asked to make sure that it was clear his opinions were his own and not necessarily the views of the hierarchy at Max Cash. Reasonable, no?

    So, that's the straight skinny...Whether you think he handled things right or wrong, at least you have the story.

    In the parlance of our times, it is what it is.

    Now...For those of you have been turned off from Max Cash because of all this BS, let me see what I can do for ya...Let me sleep on it...I'll come up with something.

    And if ya DO know me from the old days, you know I will.

                      The wolfpack mentality here can be pretty intense, but of course damien should know that by now as he's been around long enough. He was given some good advice by a few of us in the threads he posted about this, but as far as I can tell he basically hung himself.

                      I think the self-hanging was in part due to him having the "_maxcash" tacked onto his username. While I see the company benefit of it with most of your reps, damien being a lot more outspoken than most and more blunt and at times abbrasive (nothing wrong with that) he probably should have just kept his username as "damien_2001" or whatever it was and just left off the _maxcash handle.

                      People equate your words with the company a lot more when you have the co. name right in your board handle, I find. He should have found a way to diffuse the situation instead of quitting. Personally I would never quit under those circumstances. You make things right, set records straight, change your username if you have to, and get on with business.

                      ...and never say anything negative about another person or company unless you can unequivocally back it up with proof. Solid proof.

                                                          I wish they'd have more variety of banners for all these "new" sites they came out with (as well as having the promo material look 2008 instead of 1999).. And I REALLY wish they hadn't of killed bignplump.

                                                                                                                                                          And honestly, who has time for that when there's a whole world to conquer?

                                                                                                                                                          These boards were originally launched as a springboard for people looking to do business. And maybe you have to mine through more shit than ever to find the gold, but there is still gold to be had.

                                                                                                                                                          As I said in my original post, I'll see what I can come up with by tomorrow to do my part. ;)

It is NEVER too late to do it, the thing that everyone is tired of though, is people being late to the table and not doing it right in the process

                                                                                                                                                              as long as you get them up, do them right so that bloggers can actually use them and get traffic with them, you won't have any problems
