                                                  Wow you finally put into words what I've been trying to say forever. It's a freaking cult! I used to love Apple (I am old man and I started on an Apple //plus!). Then the MAC came out and I was annoyed because I was a code geek and didn't like this whole GUI thing. I hated PCs back then too though. Anyway skip forward to now and you have a product where they get away for charging like 20%-30% more for something just on the basis of selling you on being some kind of anti-establishment person if you buy it. It's a cult of personality and it's rather annoying.
