I did my part, I posted this in dozen of places, I put it in my sig, I asked my friends to put it on their sites. I know 2 of them actually did it... however, sadly I have no more time to back this.
If the industry is not defending themselves then no one will do it for you. Other industries are way more proactive in defending themselves from things like this.
Just look at some random e cigarettes guys http://allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/ yes, they did put a link to the petition in the header of their site. It wasn't hard, was it?
But the adult industry seems to not care.
Yes, this law already passed and the anti adult censorship petition got stuck in place now since last 2 weeks. Even something as silly as "Ban the sale of young puppies & kittens without their mothers being present" has more votes than anti adult internet censorship petition.
Well, manwin and other big corporation will survive, but if you're an owner of small UK targeted adult business I'm quite sure it will hurt... just do not be surprised.
I tried because I was thinking this was not right thing and that other countries might follow this shit in near future, anyway, good luck everyone.Last edited by Cyber Fucker; 08-18-2013, 11:04 AM.Comment

Were you not the one advising UK webmasters that they don't have to pay VAT if you use CCBill or Epoch? This is not thread to discuss that issue my friend. If you need more accurate advice than you should go to your accountant and take advice on VAT issue. If you don't charge VAT and your threashold is uder 75,000£ = 120,000 USD $ than tyou don't have to pay VAT. This is my understand. Rest accountant is the best to advice bcz you pay them to file accountant and advice on taxation isssues.247mg.com - Indian Affiliate Program - Over 50+ Sites To Promote - Monetize Your INDIAN Traffic Today!Comment

There's no need to sign anything.
Porn will be replaced by the kosher #nsfw. Self-made hobby porn as mass participation sport, for the purposes of self-incrimination. Gentiles naked in the face of Jewry, and at the mercy of the data sellers.
The UK Government will be entirely complicit in this, hence their targeting of paysites and TV stations rather than the tubes and social networks. Stop thinking of porn as a thing to do with sex, and start thinking of it as an entity that the Jews want rid of. Google has wiped out pay porn for exactly the same reasons.Comment

This e-petition has received the following response:
As this e-petition has received more than 10 000 signatures, the relevant Government department have provided the following response:
In his speech on the 22 July[1], the Prime Minister announced a set of new measures for the internet industries to help parents keep their children safe online.
From the end of this year, when new customers set up a broadband account, they will be prompted to set up parental controls. If a customer repeatedly clicks ?yes? to get through the set-up quickly, filters will be automatically selected. Parental controls are easy for the account holder to change, so customers who do not want filters can simply switch them off. In addition, parents will have the option to customise filters, so that only the categories of content that they choose will be filtered out in their household.
The Government is aware of concerns that filters may lead to over-blocking. A UK Council for Child Internet Safety working group will look at this issue specifically and will report back to the Ministerial chairs. If a consumer or a website owner feels that a site has been wrongly or unfairly blocked, they can seek redress directly with the relevant internet service provider (ISP).
ISPs have contracts with their customers which include good practice Acceptable Use Policies (AUPs) about what may be hosted on their servers. Most AUPs already contain a general clause which allows them to remove sites or content which contain inappropriate or offensive material, even if it is not illegal.
The Government expects these sites to respond to complaints quickly and effectively as it is they who are best placed to deal with these issues. In the UK, we support a self-regulatory model for the internet industry as legislation can rarely adapt and change quickly enough to respond to the constantly evolving online environment.
It is important to note that in an open society like ours, it is necessary to find the right balance between protecting the public and legitimate freedom of speech. The Government will continue to work with ISPs and the rest of the internet industry to help people enjoy the benefits of the internet safely.247mg.com - Indian Affiliate Program - Over 50+ Sites To Promote - Monetize Your INDIAN Traffic Today!Comment
