You cannot sell uncensored Brazzers DVDs in Japan because they were produced in America or Canada. Otherwise Japanese producers would produce all their content in Guam and then sell them uncensored in Japan, which doesn't happen. American porn mags in Japan? They all get the black magic marker treatment. Conversely you can produce content in Japan that is uncensored for distribution overseas like DTI, Red Hot, Sky Angel, etc, as the censorship happens in post anyway.

It would obviously be awesome if proven otherwise, so I will have to look into this again.

So you basically don't really know/understand Japanese law, and you're plunging Manwin full-speed ahead with designers that don't understand that they should not use copyrighted content that they have no rights to, etc.
Sounds about par for the course with Fabian Thylmann - this reminds me about when he tried to suggest that lawyers told him what he was doing was not evading taxes...and look where that got him...JAIL!
Nathan/Fabian, a free word of advice, if you don't like the jails in Belgium and Germany, you are probably going to really dislike jail in Japan.
