Most people who drink the stuff think theyre tripping or whatever but youre just fucking drunk from the crazy amount of alcohol in it. Drink anything else with that much alcohol and you'll also see green fairies.

any type of absinthe that is avail. in the US is super diluted in comparison to the real stuff but it still could translate into an interesting experience....

Yes, it's Absinthe, but it has very low levels of Thujone (if any, haven't checked it out yet), which is the drug in Absinthe that gives it the effects most people are looking for. I have been ordering my Absinthe online for a long time from eAbsinthe and you can get the real stuff no problem. Comes via US Mail, have ordered over 20 bottles never had a problem at all. Goes right thru US customs every time. If you are looking to drink it and enjoy the taste I recommend La Fee Bohemian. If you are looking for something with more Thujone in it, and still ok tasting, I recommend Bairnsfather Bitter.

I'd be surprised if you will ever find the real stuff in a bar, it takes a pretty long time to make one drink correctly, bartenders would never be able to take that much time on one drink.

Absinthe's main ingredients are wormwood and thujone (THC). It is still illegal to make, grow, or buy in this country. The absinthe you are getting is shit.

That's probably like one tenth of the normal amount of thujone that is normal absinthe..
