We don't let the actions of others dictate to us what we do in order to control or curtail people profiting from copyright infringement.
Sure, pirates will move from one file locker to the next. However we are in this playing the long game. We've killed off hundreds of sites and we'll keep pushing the infringing file lockers toward best practices or extinction.
As an individual rights holders there is little you can do directly, you probably don't have the funds required to hire the legal muscle you need to pursue these repeat uploaders, it's likely they have nothing to take in any case.
Rapidgator is on it's way to demise, they have had issues with payment processing for some time and are only paying some affiliates. The more pressure that can be put on them the more likely it becomes they will fail entirely.
Ask me when we've finished off file lockers.

That hasn't stopped us having their Paypal, Moneybookers, Payza, 2Checkout accounts terminated and funds frozen. It hasn't stopped them losing their merchant accounts.
As long as we can remove their money we will keep shutting down sites.Comment

We've renewed our push against debrid and proxy sites today with the removal of all payment methods from trunkize.com
Trunkize.com allows the download of copyright infringing files from numerous file hosts for a single payment to Trunkize.com. We are going to keep removing payment processing from these type of sites as they amplify the damage done by illegal file hosting services.
You post to WJunction stating that you'll start your own file host, you post here asking what would be required for us not to target you, you run sites dedicated to the sharing of copyright infringing content and you try to say you're not a pirate.I was waiting when u will ask regarding this :P

Trunkize.com decided to flout the Paypal termination and begin using another Paypal account which also appears now to have been terminated.
Debrid sites and proxy sites are seen as an easy way for former file locker operators to make money by tapping into the Paypal money supply, however Paypal has no problem with seeing these sites for what they are and terminating their accounts.
keep2share.cc is using Kagi to process payments. We are currently working toward having this site terminated.
keep2share.cc has become an alternative to Rapidgator for many upload monkeys who are currently not being paid by Rapidgator.
Rapidgator is facing problems processing payments, thus needs to shave in order to keep paying their server fees.Comment

Rapidgator are having lots of problems and the Upload Monkeys don't know why
hmmmm...! after more then 6 month struggle i finally decide to leave Rapidgator because there is nothing rapid on it any more ...! they shave frm last 6 month it's getting worst day by day status always frozen and they never recount during frozen time then next day coming status normal but last day status still the same means if you get 5-10 sale during last day frozen time you ll get 0 (hard-dic) nothing else i am leaving if you keep taking RG harddic then keep it up otherwise think about it before it's tooooooo late.. 80 to 90% ppl now RG shave them but they love to shave so keep it up

In reality startup sites tend to keep their processing for no more than a week or two before we zap them.
WJunction seems to attract the English as a second or third language crowd. However their inability to speak English very well doesn't stop them pirating the latests releases of movies, games, porn, tv shows, software etc.Comment

You can tell which of them use a online translator and which actually attempt English on their own.
I do have to say I have found many that articulate in English better then many, including myself, that use English as their primary language.
It appears Hi5 has already found the ban box on WJ.

keep2share is also gaining wider acceptance on piracy forums, being added to the preferred file locker lists of several.

Someone from an anti-piracy group contacted me a few weeks ago and said they would take care of this PIMP20 jerk off. Something happened because he laid off my content for about a week but then went back full force this week. He seems to favor Gloryhole content and probably realized my stuff was making him good money and said fuck it.
When I go to RapidGator to grab my links, I notice they added all kinds of pop-up and garbage ads that must be extremely annoying to their customers so my guess is they're in some trouble and trying to capitalize on what they can.Comment

There are a few that are very busy uploading content like this PIMP20 monkey. RapidGator complies with the DMCA a week later after all the scabs downloaded the content which is very convenient but the content piles up faster than it can be removed.
When a site like RapidGator complies with the DMCA and has identified users as being pirates, there must be some kind of legal action that can be taken if they refuse to remove their upload privileges. Can we assume that a user like PIMP20 is one of their employees or part of an automated script?Comment

I usually find that these users are super uploaders that get preferential treatment from rapidgator, it wouldn't be too far fetched that they could be part of rapidgator.
When we check removals, there are some interesting patterns. One is that rapidgator will omit to remove one in every six links (it's a really obvious pattern using a link checker) the other is that they really drag their heels removing any of the links of certain affiliates.
Naturally their bot mail we notify removal completed but I always check. Then you see the patterns because depending on affiliate, they are either all removed, 1 in 6 is not removed or they didn't actually remove any at all.
I'm sure no-one is surprised that antics like these and way worse will happen behind the closed door of a cyberlocker.Comment

They make sure videos get uploaded faster than they are removed and I'm sure their script times it perfectly to optimize downloads. It seem like they have a pattern of leaving the videos up for at least a week to give their scabs plenty of time to get the new stuff before complying with DMCA. This PIMP20 douche bag must be one of their main affiliates.Comment

When a DMCA is sent to Rapidgator they receive and process it quickly, but then will leave the file up for 48 hours with a notice stating that the file will be removed due to DMCA and display a countdown timer.
They are basically saying, hurry up and download this before it's deleted
This week we will be applying enormous pressure to ad networks being displayed on Rapidgator.

They refuse to remove their repeat offenders, there's one continually re uploading content of each site in my niche systematically at the mo with premium links offered by PM when the free ones are removed quickly! What a douche! It made one of my fellow producers cry when she saw her stuff totally site ripped
