IMO, yes. When you blend your body still has to break down the solids to get to the nutrients. Juicing is like mainlining them.
We have a Breville, but Omega offered us one of theirs if we would write about it and make some exclusive recipes for them. I figured there was no reason to turn down their offer.Comment

Yes. I have the 8004 model. It is capable of much more than I use it for. I only use it for juice but it is capable of making nut butters, and pasta. Slow, but tons of torque, it's a beast.. Easy to clean as well.Comment

Remember me saying about getting a juicer Baddog? Well I went for the Omega 8004 myself.
In my eyes, if something can claim to be for personal and commercial use, it must be pretty good, and it is as far as I know.
I've never tried another juicer as you may well know, but I can put anything through this thing and it near as damn it, juices everything out of anything. I get a very, very slightly mushy pulp left over with very little flavour.
I can even make mince meat with this thing, if I desire.
There is literally 1 part that gets "properly" dirty, the juicing "thingy" (sorry can't remember the name, one is called a "blank") and that comes with a tough brush to clean the grating with, take me less time to clean than the blender I purchased to make smoothies with.Comment

No worries!
Only 2 "problems" I've found.
1. Grape skins get stuck, but I put them through alone, and last, in the 2 recipes I tried, something with a bit more substance might have shifted the skins from the auger.
2. I wish the juicing container was bigger, it is about 250ml, but easy enough to empty and carry on juicing.

8004 15 year warranty.
8006 10 year warranty.
It's the same machine, so what warrants 5 years less warranty? Probably the fancy "chrome".
You'll probably be impressed! It is only ranked 6th on a site I was reading yesterday, but I think the bigger/better 5 machines were over $400. The Omega was about $300.
It's so quiet aswell, but! Like I said, first and only juicer used so I couldn't compare, and hopefully will never want or have to

Says this: Measures 14-1/2 by 6-1/2 by 15-1/2 inches, 10-year warranty
Then underneath (which I didn't notice before) it says: 15-year warranty, Oh well! I wouldn't pay anything extra for the 8006 when it is the same machine but black/chrome myself is all I'm saying.
I'm impressed it can make pasta, mince meat, nut butter, etc aswell. Haven't tried them yet, but I'm sure they'll come in handy.Comment

my issue with juicers is that you don't get a lot of the important minerals and vitamins. Basically your processing your food which isn't ideal. Vitamix or any smoothy is going to be a lot better for you. But juicing is good if you just don't consume enough fruits and vegis.Network Of Adult Blogs With Hardlink Rentals AvailableComment

Omega has a comparison option and I put up all the 8000 series and could not see a difference other than color and price. Chrome goes with the rest of the kitchen appliances though,
I will respectfully disagree with you. A smoothie requires your body to break down the food to get to the nutrients, and burns them in the process.

I'm looking for a juicer as well. The one I have quit working. I bought it about 20 years ago from Service Merchandise for about $80. I can't say that I used it much, but I'm interested in giving juicing a try again. Could anyone also recommend some recipes that wouldn't taste terrible? I remember trying carrot juice and it was disgusting.Comment
