                                                              Although there are some models who are mentally stable and enjoy or don't mind the work, there are also quite a few with serious issues. It shouldn't be too surprising that fragile personalities tend to seek extremes for comfort.

                                                              And, in a way, religious fanaticism is not much different from drug abuse, uncontrolled sexual promiscuity, etc. They all often serve to distract people from underlying psychological issues.
