Why did the judge not allow the text messages with the friend about Martin's thug attitude and the fight with the guy who wasn't black enough for his liking?

If I was on the fence as a jury member that evidence would have been very important to me since Zimmerman's defense was the kid punched him and then put him on the ground. That text conversation sure shows Trayvon Martin to be a punk whom I could easily believe rather than running home from a guy following him would turn around and walk back to confront his follower. With the evidence that was presented in the trial I may have like Rochard and others decided that this was just an average kid on his way back home from the candy store therefore Zimmerman must have provoked the violence. Even if that was how I felt I'd still have been compelled to find him not guilty because there was plenty of reasonable doubt cast on the prosecution's case.

There were no riots, I think many black people saw this case the same way most reasonable saw it.
