    Yet another tgp - Need Critique and Galleries

    I am getting ready to launch www.purepornfree.com in a few days and wanted to know what you guys thought of the design? Very simple very basic because that's what I like to look at. One of my questions is how many banners should I have on the site and should I do a pop under?

              looks nice, some people would disagree but I would put more (yes more) free porn links on the page.

                                  A picture in the background distracts from the actual site which makes it less appealing to the eye.
                                  SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                                          I was only kidding about the sig! A little sarcasm over any request for "constructive criticism" on this board isn't too outlandish.

                                          I dunno why the main page takes so long. What size graphics are you using? Its always possible its just my connection, but it took about that long through a proxy also.

                                          Is the load time lagging for anyone else?

                                                  I can try to cut down the pics as much as possible but it's mostly the links that take up space. I wish I had a dialup to test this on.

                                                      Yeah, I checked your .gifs after making my last post and they look great to me for size. Maybe your host or its upstream provider is just having a bad day?

                                                          I bought a small amount of traffic to get it started, but now it does not really grow just stays the same.

                                                          Before I give up on this and go back to doing what I actually know, any feedback on why this design wouldn't grow traffic. Quite possibly its just I have no idea how to grow trades.

                                                              Now does the back ground image really take away that much and who said my site loads slow? Its like 50k What are you on a 9600 modem? Also has anyone had any luck wth movie galleries? Or should I start a new thread?

                                                                  need fill in galleries? just copy these urls for your categories, and they come up as a new clean gallery every time you click on the category...nice and simple

                                                                      I can tell you why your page takes soo looong to loaaad: It's all one table! And even not with not much formatting ( width="700" height="100%" ) - so the browser has to load the entire page before it can be displayed.

                                                                      Rule #1 for fast loading pages: BREAK UP TABLES
                                                                      Rule #2 for fast loading pages: add as many formatting helps as your can (height=1070 / image dimensions, etc!)
                                                                      Rule #3 for fast loading pages: never insert an image w/o it's size tags
                                                                      Rule #4 for fast loading pages: break up tables!
                                                                      Spam me with design ideas for my signature - LOL!
