    Pacific Rim

    Saw it today, good graphics, has the guy from Sons of Anarchy in the lead role.

    If you love a good killing large aliens movie, you'll like it, story kinda suffered.
    Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                  Besides the out-of-place Asian girl all the male lead characters looked the same. Was hard to tell who was alive or dead.

                  Terrible plot development. When the sword came out and canon & missiles thought, "where the fuck were those weapons the ENTIRE time?" And why there was zero support besides punching giant monsters in the face.

                                      Who expected much of a story beyond "giant robots punching giant monsters"? If you went in wanting deep character development then you ask too much. There were a couple of flaws in the movie, but so far it is the best "Mecha" type movie I have seen.

                                                              Yeah seeing a lot of brothers working together then having an Asian girl work well with a white dude was weird. Then there was the monsters going after the geek that was really weird.
                                                              But still, the effects were really good and it ended up being entertaining to a point, next weekend, going to see Despicable Me 2, I think that will be a better movie.

                                                                      I had high hopes, kids loved it. But, when the highest tech fighters were shooting guns at it, then flying into it kamikaze style, it kinda lost me.

                                                                      Growing old fucking sucks balls. Either that, or gimme some more believable fantasy shit!
