Ottawa's going to have to do something. The way they got manhandled by the Leafs last night indicates, to me at least, a significant problem defensively with the team. They keep talking about secondary scoring, but really, I see their largest weakness as goaltending and an attention to team defense. Don't be shocked if Bryan Murray relieves Paddock before the seasons over ala Lou Lamarillo.Comment

Their defense has sucked ass for months now, Emery needs to go and I don't think Paddock has a clue what he is doing. I think a drunk pee-wee team could play better than the Sens are playing right now.
They way they are going right now I could see them falling out of the playoffs completely. If they do mamage to make it it will be a first round exit for sure.

Leaf fans need to be euthanized mercifully. The only reasonable approach for them is to strip the team down to absolutely finish dead last next year and draft Tavares - their luck they'll finish last and still not get to draft first.
Buffalo is the team I feel sorry for - Leafs should hire Darcy Regier and Lindy Ruff - Buffalo's lost Drury, Briere and now Campbell for almost nothing and they're still competitive - that can't go on forever, they have few prospects left and the scouting staff that put that team together has been dismantled. We knew Campbell was going. It was important that we got something for him instead of letting him go when the season was over for nothing. He nothing but a glorified Forward anyway. I wouldn't even consider him a solid D man.
