    Adult tube sites that do not block known underage users...

    A user on GayTube.com has his age set at 16, and a link to his MySpace profile says he is 15. (don't worry, no stuff uploaded by him)

    "Signed up: 98 days ago" In all that time they never moderated the age field in their database. Interesting.

                      You are very correct, minors surf porn. We do what we can, but ultimately it is in the hands of their parents.

                      What I find disturbing about an instance such as this one is that an adult tube site with social network type capabilities allows a minor to put himself out there as being a minor even if it's just though a profile. That then opens up the possibility that certain types of grown men are contacting the minor. An adult site should NEVER be the vehicle for that sort of thing.

                          If you have lets say a forum with 30k users...do you check each and every profile for the age they might have put there?

                              Yes, you go through all 30,000 by hand. No reason to use an automatic script for that sort of thing.

                              The minimum stated age should always be 18 on adult social sites. Even if the user isn't really 18 and they just put 18, in one sense that is a line of defense against the pervert who is seeking out young teens to contact. You see what I mean here?

                                          Underage surfers on adult sites are annonamous to the world. When adult sites allow these underage surfers to announce themselves, it potentially turns the site into a vehicle for the sexual solititation of minors.

                                                          I think everyone in this thread has missed or avoided everyone's valid arguments, myself not excluded.

                                                          However, I think that this thread is more worthy of existing than some of the other worthless threads. The point behind this thread is not that this gay tube site has some kid on it, but that some people in our industry are not taking their responsibilities seriously- and they should, if feasibly possible.
