You know, these things crossed my mind aswell. I actually think Shap bought a stake in brazzers since i saw that cross-sell. I'm doubtfull he would, out of the blue, start cross-sells with another site just like that, or because they offered him something that some other big sites didn't/couldn't. It could be that brazzers bought part of twisty also, but somehow i see it as the other way around, especially with all the influx of "exclusive new content" in brazzers last year or so. It's got Shap's handprint somehow

It's a shame that they were caught at alexa ranking 2000, before they could reach top 200. with only 1-2 min videos it's only downhill from here

I am not sticking up for any one side here - but, if he wants to shove full vids on the site he can. They are in no way restricted to 1-2 min clips.

He collects membership fee for his own content (on his paysite). He's not gonna go berserk posting full lenght vids of his own, cause that would mean less sign ups to his own site. Posting stolen content is much easier. It doesn't affect your paysite and once the tube site has steady flow of high traffic, he can use it to promote his paysite by posting his own 2 minute clips. Guy's got it figured. Wander how many webmasters are gonna continue promoting his sites despite this thievery

Actually doing something like this for every sponsor that is advertising on tube sites full of stolen content would actually be hillarious. Imagine "Brazzertube", "Shaptube" and all those. What would be even more funny is when they complained you'd ask them to point the stolen videos to you and that you'd comply immediatelly!

People just dont understand why tube sites can even operate without 2257 info. I REALLY wish someone would CLEARLY explain 2257 and user uploaded material, and dmca requests to the masses. Its an all or nothing situation.Comment

But if he was hosting videos that he didn't have the rights to, then that would be illegal... and those videos were there one minute and gone the next right?... I haven't been following the Shap discussions here, although I found Twistys to be a good sponsor.
I would guarantee that if anything illegal was being hosted at Swifwill however, that dweeks from Swiftwill would terminate them. They have got to be the most honest and ethical host in this biz.Comment
