You can probably get one with a shorter barrel if you live in the US. Up here they have to meet a minimum overall length, so I had to go with a slightly longer barrel because of the pistol grip.Comment

Haha. Definitely not. I bought the gun from a local dealer then added the pistol grip, bayonet and side shotshell holder myself.
Only trouble is I can't actually use it for hunting now since it doesn't have the plug in it to limit the amount of shells. (it's not like I could hit anything with that pistol grip anyway.)

I'm going shooting tomorrow to punch some holes in paper. Gonna air out the AK47, the AR15 .308, and the AR15 .223 at a long distance range 100 to 300 yds.
Gonna be a fun fun fun day. Funny enough one of my buddies coming along is Canadian. Funny how those Canuks turn from anti gunners into NRA posterboys when they move to the US of A.

I mentioned the hunting to say Im not a anti gun freak but if you live in a area that makes you feel you need a gun at home its time to leave as many places exsist that wouldnt make you feel like you needed a gun.
Of course if you live in south africa like my buddy well she has no choice (but i would still personally move if i was her)

You sure he didn't have it stored improperly? If you don't have (at minimum) a trigger lock on the gun and the ammo stored separately in a locked container, then they like to hand out fines for that.
