lol mods get paid? i doubt it... the mods here at least are usually already employees of adult.com so i believe its part of their job desc... other boards,i'd venture to say that they dont get paid...

In most cases Not a single penny. If you expect it to be more than a few hours of work a day I suppose maybe you might need to. I bet a lot of people would be happy with $5 per expected hour.

I think on this board they just piled it on to poor ICE's duties. lol It seems on the big mainstream ones I belong to its the owner of the board and voluntreers. They take it very seriously,having mod meetings.

The problem is a board needs moderation 24/7 so if you really want to moderate a commerical board you need 3-4 paid moderators..

I think a student is more than happy to pick up a job like that for 4-6 hours a day for $400-600
