a lot of people here own ars, including myself.

they are very well rounded guns. my next purchase will be a springfield .40 sub compact, and after that, im going to go ahead and get an ak. i told myself for the longest time i wouldnt get one, but i shot one of a friends of mine a few months ago, and honestly for the price it was a great fucking weapon.

I want one.. I'm not a gun nut but I've always wanted a M4. Since they did away with the Assault Rifle Ban can you legally get one with all the goodies? Like the pistol grip, collapsing stock, short barrel ect ect?

shotgun it a great choice, buckshot won't penetrate walls and is easy to hit your target. They say the sound of a 12ga being racked is the #1 deterent

mossberg 500 holds 5 rounds w/o any mods.
buy 3 boxes of shells, buck shots, bird shot and slugs.
load it as such. slug, bird,buck, slug, buck.

if you miss with the 1st shot, you will not miss with the 2nd, the 3rd should 100% bring anyone down after being sprayed with the 2nd, slug will totaly destory following that and the buck incase he brought a friend. reload.

keltec is the pocket gun, the M&P.40 is the main carry.

AR is Olympic Arms - bought it from my brother. Haven't really had any problems with it though.

Kidding aside, I'm not sure I'd recommend a 12 gauge. You're going to want to practice with it and I know my girlfriend doesn't even like to use the 20 gauge that much. Mossberg has a .410 bore version of the 500 model. Or you can get a recoil-reducing stock.

The pump-action noise can do 1 of 2 things.. it can scare them, or it can also alert them to where you are. Shotguns are nice for home defense because you are less likely to penetrate your walls, but I think a lot of people overestimate how easy it is to hit a target if you're fairly close to it.

I have a Glock 9mm in my dresser, but I keep it unloaded.. I'm not much of a believer in guns for home defense.
