I have no idea where he will end up, but I don't think he chose the countries he is visiting at random. He also had to know beforehand that those places would let him leave. Someone in his shoes, knowing what he knows, isn't going to take such a risk otherwise. That's why I think every step of this was planned out, including who to talk to in each country.
