these are compulsions or obsession or nboth but not an addiction
heroin, caffeine, nicotine these are addictions, they have physical withdrawal symptoms that are real not imagined
calling everything an addiction is a fucking cop out attempt to attach a pharmacological cause for a compulsive behavior
