    How much should I pay for an amateur movie?

    I'm in contact with a guy who is interested in filming himself with others to make an amateur movie. He said they have some semi-pro filiming ability and a decent quality camera.

    I'd like to add this type of video on my site, people like it. But how much should I offer him for that?

      As little as you can and still have him do it, but just a liitle bit more than that so he will do it again...

                          1 million dollars......It all depends on the level of the content. I would want to see the footage before I coughed up one red cent.

                              you need to include more details:

                              1) how many people in the film (guys and girls)
                              2) location (country)
                              3) length / scenes
                              4) samples before purchase or blind buy?

                              etc....

                                      Now thats a recipe for getting quality work, not.

                                      How about you have him send you a price quote and a sample, then compare that quote and the quality of his work with other providers. Then decide what you can afford to pay and still make a profit from your site.
