    Why are Porn People Such Fucking Greasebags

    Okay a while back a guy who frequents this board needed some programming and admin help with his program so I reccomended a buddy of mine.

    Guess what, after countless hours of work and tons of patience, time comes to pay and this shitbag runs off with the money and refuses to pay.

    People like this asre too common in porn.

                  A lot of people in porn make their money in ways which range from slightly to very dishonest. I remember a thread about billing companies, and one of the major criticisms of one company was that they (imagine this) notify subscribers when their subscription is about to run out as a way of controlling chargebacks. From the commotion that ensued, I can only guess a lot of webmasters are quite content to keep money that their customers didn't intend for them to have. And this is just a small-time example. How about tours that promise more than the site delivers? How about blind links? These are just the accepted dishonesties. Let's not even talk about hotlinking, pirated content, plagiarized designs and metatags, hijacked domains, and so on. I'm sure many of you can think of many more examples.

Just go to the courthouse and have a theft of services warrant taken out on the guy... They'll put him in jail and his bail will be set at the amount that he owes you... Of course you will need proof that there was indeed a theft of service..

Some fucker literally copied every single piece of an amateur paysite of mine and put it on a site of his own....both the text and html were copied verbatim, the graphics were also stolen. THEN, this fucker had the NERVE to email me asking for a link trade!!!!! UM, HELLO ARE YOU A FUCKING MORON? I checked out his stats and saw his site was getting a pathetic 50 hits/day so I decided not to do anything about it with my lawyer...I just wrote a him a nasty email instead. Some of the stuff was changed, so I decided to let it go. Some people are stupid fuckers, plain and simple.

                                                                                      A publisher cheats a photographer and we tell all our mates in the business, who tell all of their mates and soon the publisher gets no good pictures sets.

                                                                                      A publisher recently appointed a CEO with a bad reputation, the publisher stopped recieving sets and when they did they had been to 4-5 other mags and turned down. The editors knew sales would fall if they did not maintain style and quality. They MADE sure we got paid.

                                                                                      You mess with IDs or MRs or a models age. For a magazine, they email the other big players and your business is finished.

                                                                                      The problem with the Internet is, you do business with cheaters, they stay around. There are so many people who think "I can cheat this guy, cos it will not effect my business"

                                                                                      Too many webmasters are willing to deal with anyone, so long as the price is right.

                                                                                      You make the market, not visa versa.
