    Steroids are not that bad.

    Since there's a conversation where people are convinced that weed is evil... let's start one about Roids.

    I'm telling you. Steroids are NOT worse than either tobacco, weed or alcohol.
    I don't know why most people think it's evil shit. They are just not educated.

      maybe they have just read about people going into rages and killing themselves and their families, or maybe just read about people having heart attacks, or whatever other side effects you can die from

          The guys with really bad side effects like heart attacks ABUSED steroids for many years(10+), stacking many other shit with it and did not respect the posology at all.

          You think that steroids would be prescribed by doctors if it was THAT bad?

              I don't believe that. I know someone who had a very big penis - bigger than I liked - and he had probably taken enough steroids in his life to bulk up a small country. If steroids shrank your pecker, he'd be a eunuch.

                                      Who came to that conclusion? Does the autopsy papers say so? What happened exactly? Often people blame steroids but they have no scientific proof, data or methodology to back it up.

                                              anobolic steroids taken under doctors supervision is much safer than being a smoker or being an alcoholic. Steroids are PRO Health because Testosterone is natural in the body and steadily declines after a male reaches 30+.

                                              ANY drug that is abused is dangerous. People associate roid rage with normal healthy doses are idiots. People who abuse a drug like testosterone are most likely abusing other drugs as well, among other problems.

                                              The real dangerous steroids are prescribed by weak as doctors every day and are FAR more dangerous. Take Prednisone for example. Its a deadly steroid with NO health benefit, and kills many patients while destroying your body and immune system yet it is prescribed like candy to COVER up all kinds of ailments leading to others.

                                              Kids on steriods being bad is a no brainer...when your a teenager your body is not done growing so it is flowing with testosterone, thus the acne, mood swings, and sometimes depression. Add a bunch more testosterone then those symptoms are much more serious. If you think that taking testosterone in normal medicinal doses as an adult creates roid raging crazy people you are not only uneducated, you believe every peice of garbage information you hear on the nightly news. Which just makes you dumb.

                                                      Steroids are painted to be a bad thing because of the roid rage news stories, and the bad press relating to the extremely high doses that pro athletes take for performance enhancement which have profound physical side effects.

                                                      Truth be told, steroids like testosterone and also human growth hormone are legally available by doctor prescription and are commonly taken in sensible doses with blood work being monitored by many males of a certain age who care about their health and their optimum physical well being as part of an anti-aging regimen. The hysteria against steroids will delay the wide spread popularity of testosterone therapy and acceptance of HGH as a common treatment for everyone, but almost any male (and females too in the case of HGH) can benefit and reverse many of the effects of aging by using these hormones regularly. It ought to be common practice for anyone over say, thirty-five or forty years old, same as brushing your teeth and someday soon I am convinced that it will be a part of every doctor checkup.

                                                          "steroids" includes a wide range of drugs. some very dangerous... most not at all.

                                                          as i have said before. using the the word "steroids" to describe all of them and the risk factor is like saying "alcohol" kills without ever distinguishing between someone who has a glass of wine a day with dinner and someone who drinks 2 bottles of grain alcohol a day and passes out in dumpsters.

                                                          its really too bad. HGH and testosterone are very good for you in proper doses.... but because of all the hysteria, hype and lies, few outside of the bodybuilding/pro-sports community will ever benefit from them.

It's a drug, don't try to say it's safe because you use small amounts of it and can't see side effects. Even though you can't see them, you still have them.

                                                                                                                                  You can have a person that does crack every day and live to be an old man, same with drinking, or any drug. And a spoon full of water can drown you. But since none of that is the topic and the topic is roids..

                                                                                                                                  Roids can give you a rage even within the first few controlled cycles, it has been proven that the accelerated testosterone rate is not matched with other hormone rates which causes imbalances in the body and will shut down or turn on in excess other parts to try and balance things out. When you abuse the drug, the effects are magnified, not 'just' introduced.
