No, what I am saying is unless you have invented a time machine and can go back and uninvent you tubes then you have to either learn to adapt and try and work with it or find a different job.
Those who think that you cant sell porn, because someone is giving a movie away for free has a very steep learning curve and need to learn why people pay for porn. Free porn has always been around. Far more was passed around free way before the internet was invented.
Those who think they are losing sales because of tube sites and want it all to go back to how it was before tube sites were invented, will be of little relevance soon, because they wont be here.
Free sites have now evolved. They are not going anywhere, no chest banging or shouting on GFY is going to turn the clocks back.
Pay sites have to sell to the customer by offing the customer what he wants. Offering something more, better. Not by trying to force the customer into signing up because they cant find free porn somewhere else.
Unfortunatly most webmasters cant understand this simple point and think some magic is going to happen and we will all go back to better days before tube sites. But like I said, no matter as those webmasters wont be here much longer

Tube sites are going to get bigger offer better vids, longer vids and more vids and there is going to be more and more tube sites. All competing to give the best vids available.

New Tube Sites are like the war on drugs, you cant stop it, theres going to be huge demand for free movie porn until the end of time. You all keep forgetting the industry all goes tube crazy full scenes given away. Governments around the world are going to start filtering out porn. Now I know the adapt or die crowd and the short term thinkers have a hard time with this.
We know for the most part politicians are not the most net savy bunch. Bt's,newsgroups even tgps its foreign but a tube site just click and there is a full length anal scene.
All you forward thinkers have to start thinking outside your own little industry . Porn has always been sold behind counters, in shops with darkened windows. Since its not open access its been tolerated.
Because things for the first time have gotten slow,people are scared and are going to embrace the giving the house away mentality. We are on the road to being banned off the web. The logic leading up to your conclusions is OK - that it comes down to money being the first priority. But in the end your conclusion that you should partake in the adult tube phenomenon is most probably incorrect. We tried a bit of tube traffic maybe 6-9 months ago... it was LOUSY. There are definitely MUCH better ways to get traffic even in the short term - not to mention that over the long term tube sites may make it a LOT more difficult to SELL any adult video product on the web.
You should reconsider.
